A collectible is an item that is worth far more than it was originally sold for because of its rarity and/or popular demand. The term collectible is sometimes applied to new items that have been mass-produced and are currently for sale. This is a marketing gimmick used to stoke consumer demand. Items that are currently for sale may run into supply issues that drive up the price asked for by resellers, but this is a different phenomenon from what is driving the value of true collectibles.

ViValid is a blockchain-based platform aimed to estimate the potential value of collectibles. Using your mobile devices you can ask experts about the price of anything directly without any middlemen. You just have to send a photo to the service and get an answer. Moreover, you can be an expert yourself if you feel at home in any area. The platform utilizes blockchain technology so all validations are transparent and independent. ViValid is going to be a bridge between sellers and experts. The platform provides token rewards for project participants.
